Article II [The Presidency]
The second article is about the executive branch and describes how the
president and vice president are elected, installed and removed. In addition
to that the article lists the qualifications of holding the office and
the procedures if a president can no longer serve.

- can propose legislation.
- can call Congress into special session.
- can appoint ambassadors, officials and Supreme Court justices
with "the advice and consent of the Senate".
- is required to periodically report to Congress on the state of

Article III [The Judiciary]
The article establishes the Supreme Court and lists the type of cases the courts
have jurisdiction over. There is also made a provision for the right to trial

Article IV [The States]
The credit clause requires that the legislative and judicial actions of one
state must be honoured by the other states. The article guaranties each state
a republican form of government and additionally that a citizen of any state
has the same privileges as citizens of all the other states. It also ensures

Article V [The Amendment Process]
In this article the process of amending the Constitution is described. The
states are responsible for ratifying amendments.

Article VI [Legal Status of the Constitution]
The article is about the supremacy clause which states that the constitution,
the laws of the United States and the treaties entered into are the supreme

The article states that the approval of conventions of nine of the states was
